Robert turns his hand from property to prose

New author Robert Jordan.

A LEADING letting agent is turning his hand from property to prose as he publishes his first novel, set in Chester.

Robert Jordan, from Prestbury, has written an exciting crime novel called Time's Up, which features well-known landmarks across the city.

The story, which will be the first of a series of novels, tracks two murders, a fraud and attempted blackmail.

Robert, who is chairman of residential lettings agency Jordan's eight offices, is also a chartered surveyor with more than 40 years experience working in the property market in the North West.

He is immediate past president of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. He said: "It's taken a year of extremely hard work to get to this stage and it's exciting to finally see my book in print.

"Writing has always been a passion of mine and once I started this book, I couldn't stop.

"I've finished the second instalment, England's Wall, which will be published next year. I've been able to draw on my experience of the property market to write the book."

The novel, which is set in Cheshire and features landmarks in Chester and Tarporley, is available in paper book and eBook format and retails for £7.99.
